Silk Thread

Pearsall's Gossamer: Pearsall's Gossamer is unlike any currently manufactured silk. Properly burnished and finished, silk this fine looks as though it has been poured into place. This is the finest diameter silk sold for wrapping rods, and Gossamer's twist is undoubtedly more consistent than any American silk and probably more so than any Japanese silk. Consistent, but not too tight. Pair these attributes and you have a silk thread that does not mottle when properly finished. Wraps of Gossamer will accept varnish evenly, giving your rods the professional appearance you desire.
Pearsall's Naples: Eyes shot? Got a Lunker of a rod you need to whip? Naples has all the great attributes of its cousin, Gossamer, but it's a bigger diameter thread.
