BRONZED SNAKES & TIP TOPS

Bronzed Snakes & Tips—At the behest of Golden Witch, Pac Bay briefly offered bronze-finished, light-wire snakes and standard loop tip tops. Using a process substantially similar to that used in making their outstanding TiCH snakes, they created a dark, English Bronze-tone finish that is both durable and beautiful. Unlike traditional English Bronze finishes, Pac Bay’s process produced a finish that won’t quickly wear off at points of line contact. This process also made it possible to match bronzed snakes with tip tops of the same finish. Sadly, the sales volume didn’t justify further production, so these are now a close-out item. LIGHT WIRE SNAKES

These snakes are crafted from light stainless steel wire, then plated with industrial grade hard chrome. All Light Wire Snakes feature pre-ground feet. Ideal for use on bamboo fly rods, light graphite rods, or anywhere else that light weight and flexibility are requisite attributes. Available in sizes 3/0-4.

LIGHT WIRE TIP TOPS

These tip tops are crafted from light stainless steel and plated with industrial-grade hard chrome. Ideal for use on bamboo flyrods, light graphite rods, or anywhere else that light weight LIGHT WIRE TIP TOPSand flexibility are requisite attributes.
Available in sizes 3.5- 5.5. Bronze is also available in 6.0. Black is also available in
6.0 and 6.5.

STANDARD SNAKES & TIP TOPS

Standard Wire Snakes & Tip Tops; Light Wire Tip Tops - The Super Hard Chrome, Black Chrome, and TiGOLD snakes are of excellent quality for the money. Feet tend to need a little work, but overall these guides are a very good value. The Titanium Carbide (TiCH) coated guides are superb. The low friction TiCH coating is durable and good-looking, glossy, gunmetal gray. The feet of the TiGOLD &TiCH guides have not been ground, allowing the rodmaker to TIP TOPSshape them perfectly with a little elbow grease.
